With an exceptional record of achievement leading both QLD and NSW clubs, Tony has been the HCS General Manager (QLD) since 2015.

With over 30 years of executive management experience, Tony currently facilitates QLD venues, business strategies, and venue-by-venue financial management.

He directly manages each venue’s gaming fleets, floor design layouts and product upgrades. Undertaking Queensland negotiations and purchases with national suppliers, Tony also implements all gaming strategy and product management for the HCS Group.

Working with venues that have been, in many cases, businesses on the brink of closure, Tony oversees the re-engineering of their business operations, taking clubs from the verge of collapse to a future of profitability and growth. Currently responsible for seven HCS venues, Tony also personally manages all aspects of the 1,150 gaming machine fleet.

In his role, Tony analyses detailed data from individual machines or games, as well as groups of gaming machine products, machine denominations, positioning and jackpots. Based on his expertise, Tony is adept at developing strategies to ensure each club’s continued growth and profitability. In addition to his vast gaming expertise, Tony also ensures that the dining and beverage offering aligns with each venue and compliments gaming revenue.

Prior to his role at HCS, Tony was the CEO of Club Marconi in NSW, where he saved the iconic venue from bank administration and achieved multi-million dollar profitability along with a $40 million annual revenue base.

Preceding this accomplished feat, Tony spent over a decade transforming Caloundra RSL throughout its six-stage $45 million re-development.

During this time, he amalgamated three additional venues under the RSL umbrella, leading Caloundra RSL to become Queensland’s most successful club. The venue went on to win over 50 state awards, including Club of the Year four times and Queensland’s Premier Dining destination on six occasions.

Tony is an Active Certified Club Manager (ACCM) and holds the personal distinction of being one of Queensland’s only dual recipients of the QLD Club Manager of the Year.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Hospitality Administration/Management, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management and an Associate Degree in Club Management.
