Ian Tregoning

Managing Director

Ian is the owner and Director of the Tregoning Group of Companies. The Tregoning Group of Companies is a South Australian based business operation specialising in trailer manufacturing and engineering.

The Tregoning Group commenced operation in 1946 and has operated profitably ever since. From 1960 the Group has acquired significant landholdings throughout Adelaide, resulting in Ian developing various industrial and commercial ventures on these properties.

Ian graduated from Flinders University with Degree in Economics and an Honours Arts Degree. Ian has also undertaken a graduate diploma in Property Development at the University of South Australia.

Between January 1995 and December 2003, Ian devoted his time and attention to the pursuit of the business objectives of EDP Hotels and other real estate holdings, of which HCS is a subsidiary.

Ian has been responsible for the successful development and redevelopment of hospitality venues and other real estate holdings of HCS.

He has also specialised in gaming room design, gaming machine selection and gaming performance analysis where he is widely recognised as an industry leader in these fields. Ian is responsible for giving strategic guidance and direction to the HCS Group, to ensure that it achieves its mission, vision and long-term goals.

Since December 2003, Ian has also been responsible for the development of retirement villages under the Living Choice Australia banner before expanding into Living Choice Residential Communities via property development, land holdings and sub divisions.

Graham Hobbs

Managing Director, FINANCE

Graham graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Law Degree and an Economics Degree in 1971. He commenced legal practice with the legal firm of Kelly & Co in 1972. Graham was a Partner from 1972 to 1997 and during that time was head of the firms Banking and Finance Division.

Graham was practice chairman of Kelly & Co between 1988 and 1997.

On June 30 1997, Graham retired as Partner of Kelly & Co to devote his time and attention to the development of the business interests of HCS.

Graham is responsible for the financial and legal management of HCS and since December 2003, he has been in charge of Living Choice Australia’s sales, marketing and operations teams.

He also negotiates the management contracts for clubs in Queensland for HCS.
