Managing the day-to-day operation of Gaythorne RSL, David joined the venue in 2018 to drive business performance through his adept financial management, staff development, event planning, club presentation, marketing experience, and compliance expertise.
David has a successful background in leadership and a comprehensive understanding of economic conditions affecting clubs across various demographics and regions. He works closely with his team, club executives and board directors to ensure the club continues to attract new members and increase loyalty amongst existing members.
Delivering premium customer service to club guests across gaming, beverage, functions, and entertainment, David is proficient in maximizing operational efficiency and ensuring consistent revenue and profit growth.
Before his role at Gaythorne RSL, David was employed by ALH Group as Venue Manager for The Gap Tavern, where he managed the strategy and direction of hotel operations.
David’s key career achievements include the implementation of two large full club renovations and refurbishments, each in excess of $1 million, along with the construction of a new $5 million venue.
David holds a Diploma of Business in Hospitality Management.
