Paul McGuire
General Manager | Club Burleigh

Responsible for the strategic development and growth of Club Burleigh, Paul joined the team in 2017 to ensure ongoing business growth. Focused on operational management, legislative compliance, financial accountability, and human resource management, Paul takes a hands-on approach, leading his team by example in all aspects of the club.

Paul oversees all requirements and implementation of club operations, from business planning and budgeting through to marketing, promotion, and branding. Reporting directly to the Board, Paul communicates effectively and implements well-considered strategies, resulting in increased patronage, revenue, and profitability for the club.

Before joining Club Burleigh, Paul held general manager positions at Club Talle, LIONS@springwood, and Southport RSL. During his career, Paul has achieved several milestones, from playing an integral role in the initial fit-out of the re-launched Brisbane Lions Club to taking Southport RSL out of receivership and securing 25 percent growth within 12 months.
